Peer Review Proces

Peer Review Process

All submissions to the Journal of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality and integrity.

  1. Initial Screening
Upon submission, the editorial team conducts a preliminary check to evaluate the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s scope, adherence to submission guidelines, and basic scientific merit.

  2. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the process to ensure an unbiased evaluation.

  3. Review Criteria
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on its originality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, significance of findings, and contribution to multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge.

  4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial team will make one of the following decisions:

    • Accept

    • Accept with Minor Revisions

    • Revise and Resubmit

    • Reject

  5. Revision and Resubmission
Authors are given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer comments. Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by the original reviewers or by additional experts, depending on the extent of revision.

The average review period is 6–8 weeks, though timelines may vary depending on reviewer availability and the complexity of the submission.
