Journal Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. Authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher are expected to adhere to the following ethical guidelines:
Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original and properly cited. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable.
Authorship of the Paper: Only individuals who have made significant contributions to the research and writing should be listed as authors. Others who contributed in a minor way should be acknowledged.
Multiple or Redundant Publication: Authors should not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently. Redundant publications are considered unethical.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.
Data Access and Retention: Authors should be prepared to provide raw data related to their manuscript if requested and must retain such data for a reasonable time after publication.
Fair Play: Editors evaluate manuscripts based on intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.
Confidentiality: Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, and the publisher.
Publication Decisions: The editor is responsible for deciding which articles submitted to the journal should be published, guided by the journal’s editorial policy and legal requirements.
Confidentiality: Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents and should not be shown to or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor.
Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively, and observations should be formulated clearly with supporting arguments.
Acknowledgement of Sources: Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors and report any similarities or overlaps between the manuscript and other published papers.
Conflict of Interest: Reviewers should decline to review manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with any of the authors or institutions connected to the papers.
Monitoring and Safeguarding Ethics: The publisher works closely with editors and authors to ensure best practices in publishing ethics and supports actions to investigate and respond to allegations of research misconduct.
Handling of Unethical Behavior: Allegations of misconduct will be investigated. If unethical behavior is confirmed, appropriate corrections, retractions, or other actions will be taken.
